Best reusable microfibre cleaning cloths compared in 2026

Microfibre cloths look much alike on the shelf, but the packs differ quite a bit. Some give you two cloths from a household-name brand, others hand over a couple of dozen. Cloth sizes vary slightly, fabric blends are listed in different ways, and the surfaces each set is aimed at do not all match. This roundup is based on desk research into the supplied product details rather than hands-on testing, so it sticks to what the listings state. We compared pack size, cloth dimensions, material, colour choice, washing guidance and the surfaces each set is said to suit. Where a brand quotes an absorption figure, we report it as a claim and not as a result we have measured. Whether you want a big stack for the kitchen, car and windows or just a small pair of cloths for the sink, the comparison below should help you narrow it down.

Our Top Pick

Amazon Basics

Amazon Basics combines the largest pack in the group, 24 reusable cloths, with the biggest stated cloth size at 40.5 x 30.5cm. The 90% polyester, 10% polyamide blend is described as absorbent, with a claim of soaking up 8x its own weight. Three colours (blue, orange and white) make it easier to separate jobs, and the cloths are said to work with or without cleaning products. That mix of quantity, size and flexibility makes it the best all-rounder here.
